Advanced Multi-Environment
Rescue Aircraft

A versatile rescue helicopter built for extreme environments with advanced sensors and reliable performance.

RETAVIA™ SR 555LMS

The RETAVIA™ SR-555 LMS™ is a highly capable medium-lift rotary-wing aircraft engineered specifically for all-terrain, all-weather Search and Rescue (SaR) missions across Land, Mountains, and Sea (LMS). Designed for endurance and resilience, it features a rugged airframe, integrated mission sensors, and rapid-deployment capability, enabling effective operations in remote or hostile environments such as deserts, polar regions, high mountains, and open sea. Its spacious cabin, hoist bay, and modular mission stations give crews the versatility to conduct rescues, medevac missions, evacuations, maritime recoveries, resupply operations, and humanitarian support even under extreme conditions — including night-vision deployments, icing, high-altitude landings, ship-deck operations, and salt-water exposure.

Built for reliability and ease of maintenance, the aircraft incorporates twin turbine engines for redundancy and a high-resilience composite-metal airframe that withstands temperature extremes from arctic cold to desert heat. With advanced sensor fusion, real-time data-linking, auto-hover, and wind-compensation capabilities, the RETAVIA™ SR-555 LMS™ consistently locates, recovers, and transports survivors or critical supplies in the toughest operational scenarios.

Advanced multi-terrain rescue helicopter engineered for extreme, all-weather lifesaving missions.

Features & Capabilities

Airframe / Performance

Twin-turbine engines for redundancy, power reserve and hot/high performance, high-altitude and high-temperature capability (e.g., dynamic flight altitude > 6,300 m+; hover out‐of-ground effect at altitude),sea-level to cold/high mountain operation (design span –40 °C to +50 °C or more),rugged landing gear capable of uneven terrain (rocky alpine, snow, beach, ship deck),corrosion-resistant materials/coatings for maritime-salt environment, emergency flotation gear or hull-sponson design for over-water operations, extended range/endurance (for example: 4+ hours on station + return, or long-range transit),high cruise speed and rapid climb rate to reach remote areas quickly, compact enough size or folding rotor/tail system (optional) to operate from ships or confined bases.

Cabin / Mission Systems

Large cabin/crew bay with room for rescued persons, medical attendants, stretchers, survival gear, hoist/winch system with capacity for multiple persons and cargo, with external rescue harness, basket or platform, Electro-Optical/InfraRed (EO/IR) turret for day/night imaging and search, weather and terrain-mapping radar (for mountainous terrain and maritime),laser range-finder/designator for precision operations, automatic target/person detection algorithms (optional),powerful search lights, NVG-compatible cockpit/instruments, FLIR enhancement, communications suites: VHF/UHF/HF radios, SATCOM, data-link, AIS/Maritime systems (for sea),navigation systems: GPS/INS, terrain awareness & warning system (TAWS), mountain/sea approach aids, auto-hover/auto-positioning and self-protection or survivability features (for remote/hazardous zones):, flotation, life-raft, thermal-survival equipment.

Operational Flexibility

Capability for rapid role change: e.g., from rescue to medevac to cargo drop., day and night operations: NVG-compatible cockpit, full lighting regimes, instrument flight rules (IFR) kits, mountain operation: high-altitude performance, rotor-system tuned for thin air, icing-protection, maritime/sea operation: deck landing capability (rolling seas), over-water refueling or ship-borne operations, corrosion protection, all-weather: capability in rain, snow, fog, low visibility; de-icing/anti-ice systems on rotor and engine inlets.

Safety, Maintainability & Logistics

Redundant systems (hydraulics, flight controls, electrical) to maintain mission under failure conditions, health-and-usage monitoring system (HUMS) for rotor/engine/airframe to minimize downtime, modular components for rapid field replacement/repair, automatic diagnostics, onboard maintenance planning, built-in test equipment, simple maintenance from forward bases, and environmental adaptability: e.g., sand/dust protection filters, salt soak resistant.

Mission-Specific Enhancements

Large rescue hoist with night-capable lighting, built-in safety sensors, deployable rescue raft or boat (for sea) or stretcher sling-load for mountainous terrain, cargo hook/external sling capability for supplies or evacuations, ,integration with unmanned aerial systems (UAS/drones) for search extension and coordination, real-time video/data streaming to ground/ship command center, life-support for survivors inside cabin.
